Frost

The temperatures have dipped quite low overnight, and our (normal) moist and foggy air has been beautifully frosting everything this weekend. Frosted leaves

Apart from the leaves, above, I got twigs (hanging with last years’ abandoned webs):Twigs

Best of all were Friday and Sunday mornings’ flurries; the frost had left a surface perfectly primed for collecting snow on everything from branches to spiderwebs.  Sadly, I was too skittish to bring my camera out in the snow, even though it was very light, so the only photos I have are from when I dashed out after the snow had stopped.  But I caught a little of the effect.
